Activity Forums Adobe Premiere Pro Question about Track Target Selectors

  • Question about Track Target Selectors

The way that Premiere has the Track Toggle Selectors so that you can isolate the affect of certain functions is really handy in the things like cutting clips, and Targeting a Copy/Paste Operation.

One thing that slows me down when I feel like I’m otherwise flying is when I have to reach my cursor over to the Target Toggles so that I can change it to a given track. I was wondering, and I know this is a long shot, but is there a function that exists that will allow you to select a clip in the timeline, and then hit a shortcut that will Auto-Toggle the corresponding Track Target Selectors?

This was a function that Avid that was really handy. I found myself selecting random clips in the timeline just so I could use the relative positioning to Toggle the proper Track Targeting. Ended up being a giant timesaver over the thousands of clicks in a day.

Thanks for any feedback. Chop on!
