    Hi everyone,
I’m hoping you guys can help me out. I’m producing a small clip and it will be aired on local TV. The station sent me the requirements:

    Possible codecs: H264, DN-HD, XDCAM-HD
    Resolution: 1920×1080
    Aspect ratio: 16:9
    FPS: 25
Sound: Wave, 48 kHz (nivo max –8dB)
Only *.mov or *.mxf with codecs mentioned above!!

So now I’m a bit confused. One idea I have was Sony MXF from Formats and then HD422 1920×1080-50p 50 Mbps and reduce the FPS to 25. Then I read from somewhere I should use Sony AVC but then I would have wrong file type. I’m really confused. So far I’ve only been making stuff for YouTube etc, but now I need it to be correct the first time.

Can you guys help me out?
    Really appreciate it!
    All the best to you,
    John

    I use HANDBRAKE > 25fps > mov > h264/265 Success!

    Ole Kristiansen:
Hmm, well, I kind of asked the TV station and that’s the reply I got. I think it’s a pretty decent reply in general but I’m having trouble understanding it and how to do it in Vegas Pro. I really wouldn’t want to ask the TV station “How do I do it in Vegas Pro?”.. but that’s a last resort. But I hope I’ll get an answer from here.

I downloaded Handbreak (for Windows).. it only offers MP4, MKV and WEBM :/
