Question about rendered files in Browser
When I bring in a 720 Jumpback to my 4.5 Browser, it needs to be rendered. But once it’s rendered, isn’t there some simple way I can access the rendered file within the Browser? The clip in the timeline is rendered, but if I try to put a title on top, the portion with the title becomes unrendered. And if i drag the rendered file from the timeline back into the Browser and then drag it out again for use later, it needs to be rendered all over again. I seem to be accessing the original file, rather than the rendered file. Now, if I go to into Final Cut Pro documents and then into the Render Files, the files are there and I can then drag them into the Browser and reuse them and title over them all I want. But isn’t there some way that FCP could automatically reference that new file in the Browser without having to physically drag it there? Thanks for any help.
