  • Question about Panasonic HPX-500

Posted by Kenneth Mezger on February 24, 2015 at 8:29 pm

I have an HPX-500 which is six years old and in mint condition. I do part-time spot new shots in
my area and whenever I’m not shooting the camera is protected in the carry case. It’s mint
condition. At this point I would like to know the procedure for finding out how many hours it’s been
used. I don’t see it in the operating manual. It’s very low mileage but I may have to provide it. Any help
    appreciated.

    To access the ‘Diagnostic’ menu:

    From camera being powered off…

    – Turn camera on.
    – Push the following buttons individually in this order:
    1) “Reset” (left side – Counter button)
    2) “Stop” (playback control under flap)
    3) “Disp/Mode CHK”
    4) “Menu”

From here, you’ll have access to the ‘Diagnostic’ menu where you can find out the operating hours.
