  • Question about moving sides – Stereo Audio

Posted by Doghousedonnie on December 3, 2006 at 2:21 pm

    Hi All,

I really need help here! Using PP 1.5 – I recorded some interviews with mic on left side and ambient room on right.

I’m trying to put the left side track to center and not use the right side. If I pan, it all goes to the left side on the master track. I tried to make it mono, but it wouldn’t accept the stereo track.

So – how do I take 1 channel of audio and put it in the center on my final mix?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Small Sample:

Do a search in the archives for split stereo tracks.

Apply “Fill Left” or “Fill Right” from the audio effects pallete. This will copy one channel’s onto the other resulting in one mic’s audio on both channels.
