  • Question about modifying an array object

Hi folks. I can’t believe Ican’t figure this out, but the manual went right over my head and I’m less than 72 hours from my deadline.

I have created an object that resembles a jet engine turbine. It’s essentially a glorified ceiling fan with a structural ring around the outer blade edges for support. I created, modeled and (lovingly if not obsessively) shaped my single blade and my nose-cone and have set my individual blade in an array modifier. Now I need to know how to tilt each of those blades (either one at a time or all together along a flat plane) at about a 15 degree pitch so that they resemble like a turbine fan.

Why can’t I grasp this? Who’s gonna’ throw me a rope?

    Signed,
    Lost in head-space…and…

Put the blades in Nulls and change the local rotation of the blades to your likeing.
    Cheers
