Question about layers
I am trying to animate a map in AE10. I am using the camera tool to zoom in on LA, I hold there for 2 seconds, during this 2 seconds a video layer is on top of the map layer which is a drip of paint. I then want to use the camera to pan over over to Barcelona. I want the drip of paint to stay merged/locked on LA rather then panning with the camera. Is it possible to keep the paint drip layer locked in place without key framing it by hand? Thanks

If the paint layer is in 3D mode, and is only 1 or 2 pixels above the map layer in Z Space, there should be no problem with it staying in place.
