  • Question about HDR tutorial

I watched Andrew Kramers tutorial on HDR imaging and have been playing around with it. The problem that I am running into is that once I get the HDR image created in photoshop it looks fine, then once i import the file into AE, the sky always looks really bleached out and i can never see any of the definition in the clouds vs. the sky. I’ve been using 5 photos, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2. Any idea how I can fix this problem? Also, it seems that the controls to manipulate the HDR image are somewhat limited using AE, I pretty much only change the RGB value in the curves effects contols and thats about it, so all my HDR images are starting to look pretty much the same. Is there anything else I can use to have more control manipulating the image? Thanks!

actually i wasn’t… good call! i went through and fixed up some of the images i was working with before and they seem to look much better now, but I’d still like to know if there is a way to have more control over manipulating the image. Like I said, I’m really only changing the RGB curve. Thanks!
