  • Question about exporting time

Posted by Jared Kirshenbaum on July 11, 2005 at 8:58 pm

    I have a sequence that is about 1hr and 10 min. I ma on a Dual G5 3 GB DDR SDRAM 10.4.1 FCP 5.

I need to export this in best quality for DVDSP. I am using the H264 now and it is telling me about 23hrs. Is this correct?

How can I get it faster with great quality for for DVDSP.

I am new and would love any help.

    Thanks
    J

H.264 is not for regular DVD’s. Just export to Compressor and use the High Quality 90 minute setting for DVD.

Or quicker still, “File -> Export -> Quicktime Movie…” accept defaults, and take that movie to Compressor yourself.
