Hi Aurie,

With Resolve 8.1, you can import another EDL and it will put it on the 2nd video track but not sure about importing the same EDL though. Have to try.

Or you could import an XML instead, which can contain multiple video tracks.

Hey Aurie,

Just did a quick test and yes you can import the same EDL into the timeline and have it add to the next video track. This is a 8.1 feature. You’ll need to right click on the video track in the Conform Page and select Load EDL Into New Track.

Also, you can copy and paste one timeline to another in the same project, so that basically allows you to compile all your sessions into a single timeline.
