  Question about editing codecs and compression for delivery

  Hi!

  I’m a bit confused about editing codecs and compression.

  Will the editing codec in any way affect the delivery process?

  I mean, does it matter which codec I use for editing or will the media connect back to my source media and its codec when the time comes to export for delivery ?

  Or will it use my editing codec and compress it from that?

  I hope my question makes sense.
