Question about Desktop Display on external NTSC
I have a question about Desktop Display. Since Lightwave’s NTSC Framebuffer isn’t supported with Decklink I’m wondering what it looks like to have the desktop displayed on the NTSC monitor? Naturally I want to proof my test renders to ensure my colors are correct in NTSC, so if I press F9 in Lightwave to render a frame in Lightwave and it then displays the 720×486 rendered image on my desktop, so I should also see it on the NTSC display as part of my desktop, correct? My desktop runs 1600×1050 so I’m not sure how this translates out the Decklink -> NTSC display. I’m trying to think of every way possible to use the Decklink with Lightwave without rendering to a file and opening in Photoshop in order to proof. This is the card I really would like to buy but I wish there was a Lightwave render preview. 🙁
Thanks,
Mark
