question about compix cg
I am needing to replace an antiquated cg (videonics Titlemaster 3000) at my government access channel. I have need for lower 3rds, crawls, full screen graphics. I would like to use banner templates with animation. Someone suggested a compix cg, however, I know nothing about it. Can anyone shed some light about its effectiveness, capabilities, reliability? I am on a limited budget as well. Please let me know if you have any recommendations.

The Compix are popular. For an access/PEG operation, you have other options too, if what you mostly need are full screen slides and stills with text, and alot of cycling/automation. Look at stuff like Scala for that as well.
