Question about checkmarks and alerts
Hi jsut started useing FCP recently and when i’m trimming a clip I lay it in the timeline and i get a green check mark and then when i’m previewing it the check mark turns into a yellow yeld sign… this is worrying me a bit can any one tell me what these are…

You have ‘show execess luma’ checked. You can uncheck it in the canvas window, it’s one of the pull down menus.
Green checks mean that it’s within the luma limit. Yellow means your image is too hot, or too much luma.Good Luck,
