ill try to explain what i want to do the best that i can. well here goes. i want to be able to cover lets say a logo on the video. like lets say i capture something off the tv and there is a logo on the bottom right of the screen. i want to either be able to either cover or cut out that part of each frame. ive seen a few videos that it has been done to and basiclly they had cut that part out of each of the frames and bleneded the empty box with the surounding colors. i hope i have explained this so you will be able to understand it. thanks in advance.

I think I read somewhere that this is software designed to do this.

Anyway, in Vegas, my approach would be to put two versions of the video on two tracks. The bottom one unaltered, and the top one with a cookie cutter and blur applied to the offending area.

What shape are you using? I am thinking that the circle would serve you best here.

ok i figured out how to cut the size i want but now i tried all the blur video effects and none of them seem to do what i want. is there a diffrent effect that will make the surrounding colors blend in the part of the frames that are cut out. thanks

Mosaic might be worth a shot.
