Query for Walter Biscardi : What kit do you now run?
Hi Walter, I used to follow you advice on the Cinewave forum (and thanks for a few personal responses along the way). We are about to say goodbye to our trusty cinewave set up and I wondered what systems you choose to run now – I believe you have a couple of HD suites using Kona 2s? Any recommendations – we normally work in uncompressed SD (motion graphics house) but starting to work on longer form projects and getting more HD request. Any comments greatfully received. Damien if you want, do a search on all active posts for this topic. I think Walter even covered it yesterday.

Just read my profile, I have both systems fully listed there. The only thing that is not there is a LaCie SDS SATA array which I just installed for some testing in the JungleLand Suite.
The transition from CineWave to Kona 2 is pretty much seamless, the big thing you need to learn is the control panel and how it works.
Glad I could help in the old CineWave days and it’s definitely even more fun now running the K2’s!
