quciktime export please help
Ok, hi.. I just want to make a quicktime movie… I have searched on the forum, but not sure I have the anser.. basically it’s for a festival and they want the short film as a full quality quicktime file… preobably to make a showreel of on FCP.. anwyay I try to export the movie, using the quicktime option, and it makes a file 4 gig in size which is four times the size fo the windows media file it normally makes, and when I play back it is stop and start.. how do I just export it normally to make a full quality quicktime movie film.. pleae help even though this is probably very simple for you guys..all the thanks in advance.anton
I’m not using the encoder, jsut the export movie option.

There are no Presets in the Export Movie option. Choose the Media Encoder, Quicktime as the Format, H264 as the Video Codec and the the Preset of your choice.

You can also try to export as an avi, then import it into Quicktime and let it do the conversion. QT does a great job.

From Premiere, try exporting a Quicktime Animation file, or Quicktime PNG file.

I have had the same problem. Ive tried to export as a quicktime via media encoder but do not see the option to change the codec to H 264 or preset. Im clearly missing something
