  • Quality of comp better while rotating or applying other transformation than when I finish

Posted by Nick Shaw on May 12, 2012 at 7:01 am

So i have a comp that I am super imposing over a video so I have to rotate and scale down and all that and Ive noticed that while sliding the rotation or scale the image is at full quality but then when I let go of my mouse and stop sliding the transformation the icomp becomes a pixelated mess. HOw do I always keep the full quality comp? Let me know If I should post pictures of what I mean.

    Thanks

Are you looking at a “Full” preview at 100%?

What you describe is the opposite of Adaptive Resolution at work. IOW, it’s very strange. I’m with Ted on this – you’ve probably got a very low rez comp setting. Screen Caps of the Timeline & Prefs>Previews will be helpful.
