quality keyboard?
Well, I’ve had it with my apple bluetooth keyboard. I like the wireless thing, that’s been great, Hardly ever needs battery changes, but the keys on this thing are starting to stick. I’m constantly having to push keys twice. So looking for any recomendations for a good solid feeling keyboard that will put up with daily editing. I’d give up the wireless thing if I had to. Anyone vouch for the bella keyboards? The jog Shuttle looks neat, but I don’t want another chincy feeling keyboard.

I’ve used the Bella 5102 with the jog shuttle for over a year and its been great. I think you’ll like it.

I have 3 of the 5102’s. The jog shuttle is nice but I only use it for capturing from the DVC Pro & Beta. I don’t like it for my DV deck. I have the Sony DSR 45 & the deck is too sensitive for the wheel. If you turn either way you end up minutes from where you want to be. Never felt comfortable using the jog shuttle for editing, I found it to be sluggish.
The best thing about the keyboard is the multimedia keys at the top. It gives you an extra 14 buttons to map functions. The buttons can be setup to do different things in different apps. That’s worth the $80 to go from the Advantage Series up to the Pro Series.

I don’t use the jog shuttle much either. JKL are certainly handier and easier for the timeline.
