Quality and HDV.
Hello there. And thanks for this great site 🙂
Now … i’ve been browsing some, both here and there. And i’m wondering about some things. I’m new to After Effects, and i’m currently working with HDV footage from my Sony HDR-HC5 Cam. I use Cineform Aspect HD to capture from my HC5 Cam, and using high settings, my raw footage is really big, like 500MB per 30 sec. (1440x1080_25fps) :S

A: Whats the best settings for Cineform Aspect HD, and should i use the HDLink or Premier Pro CS3 to capture with? (Maby wrong place to ask? Sorry if so)
B: When i’m finished working inside After Effects with my raw HDV footage (applied the effects and whatnot), should i then save the AE project, open the AE project in Premier Pro CS3 (Importing the AE finished composition), and THEN export for best quality? (I’m using CS3 Export using Adobe Media Encoder currently)
C: Well, as you perhaps can tell, i am looking for many things to do for keeping quality on my footage, both before and after editing in After Effects. I’ll appreciate any hints through my learning process. 🙂
<--- I'm sorry if i'm unclear in any way, as i wrote, i am new to After Effects, been trying and failing alot to learn. And also sorry if there's alot of posts about this, and if i've missed some of them. 🙂 Cheers.
