Is the Quadro FX 540 supported for use in After Effects CS4 with Boris CC6? I keep getting an error saying a component in my system is not officially supported for Boris OpenGL rendering and then 3D text whatnot refuses to preview/render. Do I need to upgrade?

    Thanks

    Hi Joel,

Unfortunately the FX 540 does not contain the necessary shader support for us to be able to render the BCC 3D Objects category of filters. I would suggest upgrading to a more powerful video card to take advantage of these filters.

You can find a list of supported cards on our web site.

    Cheers,

    Peter.

Ah, not quite what I wanted to hear. But thanks for the information.

    Joel,

The BCC 6 release notes are a great place to start. There’s some great graphics card support information there.

    Below is the URL:

    Thanks
