Quadro FX 4800, GeForce 8800
Hey So I have a Quadro FX 4800, and I am about to go and buy a Geforce GT 120, but I was thinking, I have a GeForce 8800 sitting here, why not use that?
Anyone using this configuration? I read over on REDUSER that people tested it and it worked fine.
So my setup would be.
2010 8 Core.
Quadro FX 4800
GeForce 8800
Blackmagic HD extreme
ATTO ExpressSAS R380 -

I think that both those cards together might cause heat issues. The GT120 runs fairly cool compared to the 8800. $140 for a fully vetted GPU is a no-brainer of me.
People should keep in mind that in these early stages of Mac Resolve, a reputation for being stable is important and running supported gear’s going to help that.
