    hi, I have a quadro 4500 card and AE tells me that opengl is not completly supported by this card (it does not support antialiasing and mtion blur)…yet the AE website says it is supported…am I missing something, I think I have all of the latest drivers for my card, any suggestions…thanks fo ryour help..sorry im bombarding the forlu mwith my questions, im trying to break in a new system (with lots of problems)…

    Hey, I had the same problem at a job. The client just bought the system, and just didn’t understand why it didn’t take advantage of open gl2. Fact is, AE and this card work like a dream- on a PC platform. Apple Mac systems don’t let AE take advantage of this. Yet. I assume you have one of these systems. IF that’s not the case, I would ensure that all the proper drivers are installed.

    yeah thats it…i have a mac…thanks for the tip…you’d think a 1500$ graphics card would support open gl right? well i guess not…

    Hey, the graphics card supports it, just not AE for Mac. Next upgrade probably will, though. The card might accelerate open gl for other software on the mac.
