Quadra4000 & 5770
Hi guys.
Would there be any benefit in installing the Q4000 in slot 1 vs Slot2 when used with a 5770 for GUI? (I need all my slots for raid but if I need to sacrifice one I can make a plan)

for DaVinci Resolve it will. Premiere dont know.

Do you mean that for a Resolve setup you have to have the Q4000 in slot one? I assume that the way you tell your system to use Slot 2 for GUI would be to not have any monitors plugged into the Q4000 and only in the 5770 or is there something else you have to do to tell MacOS X to assign GUI to a specific card?
I might flip the cards to give it a try.
