    QTmovie from HDV project

    Hi:

    I have a screening of a work-in-progress coming up. The piece is a documentary shot on HDV. I’ve been editing hdv on fcp 5.1.2 I haven’t been able to print to tape using my Sony HVR-A1U. So I thought I would export a QuickTime movie instead. I tried, but the QT movie was out of sync. Thinking that perhaps the 1080i60 was screwing up the QT conversion, I tried again, using these various formats, but still no luck: hdv 720 p24, hdv 720 p25, hdv 720 p30, DV/DVCPRO NTSC.

    Any ideas on how I can successfully export a QT movie? or print to tape?

    Drop your HDV sequence into a DV sequence and render it.

    See if it is snyc, then export that movie.
