QT7 Pro OK for yet?
I apologize in advance for the somewhat off-topic question…I’ve searched the forums, but haven’t found anything definitive and can’t afford to risk it…
Both from this and other forums, as well as every pro video editor I know, I’ve been warned many times since its release not to install QT7 on my systems (both platforms) because of a variety of software conflicts and bugs. Its been so long now that I don’t recall any of the specifics, but I’m very anxious to upgrade to QT7Pro and get on the iPod video bandwagon. Does anyone know what conflicts/bugs truly exist and whether they’ve been resolved? From what I recall, the main issues related to conflicts with software primarily used by pros (FCP, AE, etc.) so they might not affect others. So far, I’ve only used QT7 briefly on systems with no other video software or hardware and haven’t had any siginifcant problems.

Version 7.04 has improved greatly compared to others. I frequently use Quicktime with AE and so far, not a single issue.
