Is there a way to restart QT32 Server.exe once it crashed, without restarting premiere?

I got the dreaded “QT32 Server constantly crashing” situation and need to deliver a project on time.

Have tried emptying cache, deleting previews, turning down the resolution etc… still not working.

Once it’s crashed, Premiere ist still working, only the preview window doesn’t update anymore. So I was wondering if there is a way to avoid the 2 Minutes restarting and reloading the project by just restarting QT32 Server manually. Is this possible? If yes, how?
It probably requires some command line settings, because just double clicking doesn’t seem to do anything.

Besides that, is there any way to bypass it completely? So that Premiere uses something different to render the preview window?

    Thank you
