QT to iDVD frame flash
Hi All,
In Final Cut Studio for a simple title sequence, I cut from a title frame with white letters on black to the same type of frame with a line added. What you see is a main title and then a subtitle pops on under the main title.
This looks perfectly smooth in FCP and the Quicktime conversion. But when I play it in iDVD preview there’s a flash or glitch at the edit point. Not a smooth pop-up. Seems there’s some artifact in the self-contained QT movie that iDVD reacts to.
I wonder how to fix this. Do I need to go to DVD SP4? Is this problem embedded in the FCP title generator?

I don’t use iDVD but even with DVDSP preview/simulator is never to be used to judge quality of the video. These may or may not be there.
