  QT Reference file issue

  A few days ago the machine got silly while trying to export a Quick Time reference file. I’ve done this many times without incident. But now when I attempt to create a ref file, everything halts in the “exporting track 2 of 3” window.

  When I attempt an export, one of two error messages show up: “Exception: UPDATE_MOVIE_RESOURCE_FAILED.” Or, “Exception: QTWCloseMovie Storage Failed.”

  In either case, a good WAV file is exported. But no video. And these strange messages.

  I can still successfully export a QT movie. But not a reference file.

  This all began after a brief issue with Norton anti virus software. I’m wondering what went on in that episode and whether I should just re install Media Composer.

  Anybody had this little issue?
