    Hi!

    I have a QT 16:9 movie file..It’s a 13min. sequence of slides.

I want to use it in a Fcp project witch will be projected(PAL) on to a wall in the end.

How do I make a 4:3 720/576 file of it, for me to use in my Fcp project?

Any help wouldt make me a very happy person! 🙂

I assume you want to keep the whole frame – so you need a letterboxed version of the orginal.

Open a new sequence at the above resolution, and in sequence settings make sure ‘anamorphic’ is NOT checked. Note this assumes your original sequence IS anamophic 16:9.

Drag the 16:9 sequence, or anamorphic video (previously exported) straight into this new sequence and voila – it’s letterboxed. Export or lay to tape. Simple.
