QT export not working
Help – I am trying to export a sequence as a Quick Time movie so I can compress it to a wmv for client review. I keep getting an error message (-8916). I’m using Adrenaline on a G5 and I’v successfully exported sequences in the past. There are 3 rendered keys (from After Effects animations) could there be an issue with that? The reference movies I’ve made from this same sequences makes all the After Effects movies (at 1:1) look like a higher black level than the rest of the piece (which is still at DV25 compression – BetaSP analog source). This happens whether I select flatten or not.

I am updating my own post – after viewing the Avid Knowledge Base – I see that you cannot export mixed resolutions of 1:1 and DV25 unless you check “Use Avid DV codec”. With this checked, the QT export worked fine. I wish the error message told me that. I still have issues with the reference movie so, should I use a different “offline” resolution than DV25?
