QT Export Deinterlacing Issue
I have a btcm master recorded in 2000 on the same deck that I am using to ingest (uvw-1800) and I am trying to export a QT Sorenson3 or anything else.
The image looks great in avid but when I export, the QT has interlacing problems which are very noticeable during any action.
I have tried all of the compression settings including checking Deinterlace source video in size menu.
The image is clear when I select Single frame but the titles look bad.
Even when I send to Soreson Squeeze the preview monitor shows an image that has the interlacing problem.
Any ideas on how I can get a high quality QT as I have ingested many times and tried everything I can think of.Thank you for the time,

Also, I can output to btcm and it looks great but the QT’s have interlace issues.

Creat a complete video mixdown. Put the mixdown on a top video track. Add Timewarp effect. Leave at 100%. Change drop down option to “fliudmotion”. Change output to “Progressive”. Render then export.
