QT 776 vs QT X??
cheers all-
Just setting up my new MacPro 12core and been downloading and transferring stuff from older MacPro G5.
went to the Apple site and downloaded 7.7.6 QT, with hopes to upgrade with my QTPro off the G5 (serial number upgrade I hope)-
BUT:
after the download into the 12core, attempts to actually INSTALL the 7.6.6 failed because all the HDs have “X” present. ie, I was not _permitted_ to load 7.7.6.
SO:
I want access to paid-for QT PRO features. Can the “X” be upgraded? Nothing I could wade thru on Apples site suggested I can. And why does Apple offer Mac-use 7.6.6 – it’s latest version, if “X” is installed.What is the diff btw the 2?
