    I’m at the moment working for a company that accidentally updated FCP to 5.1.2 and QT to 7.1.3 in the middle of a project. No problem for them cause they don’t use DeckLink. But I can’t load their FCP-projects cause I’m following BlackMagics recommendations. So I wonder: will there be a catastrophy if I do the same updates?

    G4 MDD 2 x 1,25GHz, 1 GB DDR SDRAM, ATI Radeon 9600 Pro, DeckLink-card, driver 5.6.2, Mac OS 10.4.7, FCP 5.1, Compressor 2.1, QuickTime 7.1.2, AE 6.5

    Projects in FCP are not backwards compatable from 5.1.2.

    That’s what I found out, I’m asking if BlackMagic could recommend QT 7.1.3?

    Hi Erik,

    It’s fine to upgrade to Quicktime 7.1.3 if you need to as we have not encountered any issues here.
