QT 7 and PRO APP updates
I’ve been putting off doing any updates until I got in between projects. So tonight I started doing them. I came upon the QT 7 update. Just wondering whether it was causing any problems for anybody? I don’t want to update and buy a new pro key if it’s going to screw up FCP operations.
I also noticed that the pro app update does not appear in the packages folder I do a “download only” with the update utility. (I always download the packages first and then install them in chronological order. I find I have the least issues that way.) Is this update only available after QT 7 is installed?

search the forum for quicktime 7 and see what people have written. QUITE a few posts on the matter.
As for the ProApp update…it is software that runs in the background so it won’t show up as an App. And it installs itself in the manner it needs. Or so I hear.

yeah, we’re in the process of downgrading from QT7 back to QT6, because of mucho problemas, too many to mention. haven’t read the QT forum yet! jeepers, i have lots to look forward to…
