I setup a cluster between two 8 core mac pros, i’m trying to convert a 5 min (6gb) file with the DVD:best quality 90 preset, but i customized it to de-interlace the file. When i submit it process the file on one core on the “B” machine, not the service controller…i tried many times and always it does the same. In addition, when i change the preset to WEB-High, its acts as expected..it splits the file into 20 segments and process on all cores of both machines.

Any idea what the problem is?

    Thank you.

The only thing I can think of is that there might be some type of permissions-related issue because you’re using a custom user-generated compression profile versus a default profile. Go through this checklist to see if you’ve followed all of the relevant steps:

    Hi

I have went through it, and haven’t seen anything related to custom presets. I hope anyone can tell me how to fix this.

    Thanks.
