To bring you all in on what I’m trying to do I’ll start with what I have.

Macbook Pro (6 months old) and a Mac Mini (1 yr 6 months old) I used in High school. As of now I use the Mini as an Apple TV but since I did install FCS onto it in high school I still have the entire suite on it, I want to get some of the render power from the mini so it doesn’t just sit there on idol all the time.

Now here’s the question: What from FCS can I get rid of off the Mini to free up space but still have the abilities of network rendering?

I know that it’s a Mac mini and the power I’ll get out of it is almost comical but I’m eager to learn now on how to do it for future reference and for the shear fact of network renders, what can I say I think it’s cool. haha.

    Thanks for any help.

Uninstall any of the apps that you don’t use. Qmaster is a separate install anyway.

Read the manual first. It’s tricky!
