  • Q on Studio RGB to Computer RGB & Vice-versa

I was wondering: what’s the difference between Studio RGB and Computer RGB. I’m reffering to Vegas’s Video FX Color Corrector. When I apply the Studio to Computer FX to an event in the timeline, it makes the picture look A LOT better. However, I am worried, and wondering, would this better quality picture show on a television screen just as good as on my computer screen.

I would appreciate a quick response (or any 🙂 )

    Thanks,

    Michael M

If the final output is for computer, then apply the Studio RGB to Computer RGB for video clips. If it’s meant for TV, then apply the Computer RGB to Studio RGB to stills & generated media.
This is because stills/generated media use the full 0-255 range and video is only 16-235.
    Make sense?
