  • Q: How Do Open a Sony Vegas file in OSX

What if I dont have access to a Windows machine any more?

What can I do with the project files?

I can do FCP or Premiere Pro on my OSX 1.5 PPC G5 machine.

Like all other software, project files are unique to the software so there’s nothing you can do with it on a Mac – or an a PC that’s not running Vegas for that matter.

email the project to file to a vegas user, who (despite not having the media) could export an AAF file, which they would then email back to you – open in PPro

    my 2c theory
