Workin’ on a spot for a casino.

I want to do a shot where the dealer throws down a playing card onto the the table. On the face of the card will be the two protagonists of the spot, a male and female (king and queen) As the cards hit the table, the actors will go into live action and kind of jump off the card.

I haven’t shot any of these elements yet. I plan on shooting the people first in front of a green screen. I’ll have them pose in the card position, then come to life and walk off screen. I’ll then shoot the necessary Background plate of the casino.

I plan on filming the card throw at 720×1280, 60 fps to reduce the motion blur and keep the image as sharp as possible for motion tracking purposes. I’ll have the dealer throw down two custom made cards that I’ll bring to the shoot. The cards will have four dots in each respective corner in order to ensure a good point for a four corner pin track.

I’ll then add the card design and actors in Ae.

So, am I missing anything? Would you do anything differently if you were doing this shot?

    All suggestions are welcome.
