I want to place some mpg files into one timeline but I just can’t make it to work. Using still images it works ok. I create a folder then place the images in it. Then create a timeline, select all the images and it goes nice, the pictures are all placed one after the other into one and only timeline. But when I try to do the same with multiple mpg files it simply doesn’t work. Am I doing something wrong? I ‘m using Encore DVD 1.5.

Encore does not support multiple video clips in a timeline.

    Sorry,
    Joe

YOu can uses a third party program like TMPG MPEG Editor to create one MPEG file out of several. It’s fairly inexpensive and works like a charm. It doesn’t re-encode the whole file so the output quality is exactly the same as the source files. It only re-encodes the few frames where the files join.
