putting fire into a boxing ring
I have this video project I have a video of a boxing/wrestling ring and I would like to know how to either:
1. Make it seem like the fire is actually IN the ring
or
2. Surround the ring like a cage match with a cage of fire..just front view.
Any ideas and thank you.

To make the fire look like its in the ring, you’d have to use Blockers (or a mask in your compositing program) to mask out anything in front of the ring (like the ropes and turnbuckles).
For the cage of fire, you can right-click on your fire emitter and turn it into a line emitter, and keep adding points as you need to make lines across the cage.
