putting description on video thumbnail while selecting
is it possible to make the video thumbnails to generate text description while selecting the thumbnails? I made a gif of the aspect that I want to do: https://i28.tinypic.com/2ymgfhv.gif
is it possible with encore? workaround on the button overlapping or scripting something? or should I switch another program? 🙁

Using the button highlights seems like an elegant solution, but you run into what you pointed out – button overlap. That is a DVD spec issue, not Encore.
To do that effect you need to create multiple menu screens and have buttons ‘auto-activate’ to the menu with the text you want. Lots of tutorials on how to achieve this using Encore.

the auto-activate option takes too long to load, I’ve tried that before.. I was wondering if there is another workaround aside that…
thanks for the response Paul. 🙂it looks like I have to convince my client that that placing descriptions on the same place is impossible..
