I’m a newbe at Particleillusion and I notice that the instructions are geared to video. I want to put some effects on slides in a slide show. I use Proshow Producer 4.xx. The result will be viewing a static slide with an animated effect. Sparks and smoke coming from a camera someone is holding for example.
    Can anyone point the way?
    Thanks.
    Jim.

I’m not familiar with the software, but from their website:

“Simply drag and drop your photos and videos onto the Slide List to add them to your show. Each slide can have an unlimited number of layers meaning you can create unique photo montages, add borders to images and more. You can even edit your video clips directly in ProShow Producer by using the built-in video trimmer.”

So it sounds like you can just render a movie (AVI) and add it to a slide.

    Alan.
