    Puppet tool copy paste

    So, part of my animation is a bunch of characters singing together, to create this I placed separate layers containing bottom lips w a main layer of the characters faces w black behind the bottom lip, because the song has a lot of O’s and ah’s, I wanted to try to animate w the puppet tool i.e.

    a) pin points either side of bottom lip and one in the centre.

    b) pull on center pin in time with song.

    Okay, it worked great with the first one, I then tried a copy and paste of puppet tool specks into second character they came out grey in the deform.

    any suggestions

    Select the Mesh Property and not the KFs. Then paste onto your target layer.
