    Hi-
I am animating the twist to a molecule of DNA — I added puppet pins to one end of the ‘ladder’, but when I try twisting the molecule, the puppet pins disappear and the entire molecule rotates.
I would like the points where the pins are attached to not move, twist the free end of the molecule over time, then add 2 more pins, twist the molecule again, etc. until you end up with the finaltwisted DNA.
Here is an example of untwisted and then twisted DNA:

    I would appreciate any help!
    Thanks!!

    Hi Carolina,

DNA is twisted in three dimensions, which is something that (as far as I know) the puppet tool cannot be used for. You would probably need a 3D application for this.

    Carolina,

Simulation> CC Ball Action might be something that can help you. I don’t know what the file you are trying to twist is though.
    Here is an example:

    Good luck.
