So I’m using the puppet pin tool for animation and all of the sudden the pins stopped showing up on one of the layers. Even when i select the pins in the layer’s properties (if that’s the right term). the other layers still show their pins

    Please help

I’ll try and guess: have you turned on Continuous Rasterization?

No, I’m using png images so the continuously rasterize option isnt available. But i quit and restarted After Effects and now it’s working again. But thanks for the feedback

Thanks for this, helped me. Why can’t it work on continuously rasterised?

Maybe an opportunity to reiterate the process of operations?

Layer sized effect can’t work if comp bleeding off edges?

I know this thread is 2 years old, but if anyone is looking for a solution like I was. Try clearing your cash, restart the program, and if all else fails try this.
    1. select your layer and mesh you’re working with

    2. select the puppet pin positioning tool and tick the box that says Show. You may have to toggle it once in a while.
