    Hi…

I know when rendering for DVD, I use the 23.967 + 2-3 pulldown for my 24p renders in Sony Vegas Pro 10.

QUESTION: does this also apply to HD Blu Ray compliant files? … or should I just use 23.967 with NO pulldown? In other words, do Blu Ray players interpret the files differently than DVD players?

NOTE: my footage is 1920×1080 – Cineform 24p .avi

    Thanks in advance.

Blu-ray uses pure 23.976 progressive video, no pulldown encoding needed. It actually supports pure 24p as well, though I’m not sure DVD Architect would allow this.
