Puffy & Smoky Text
I’m looking for any ideas to move 2d text through a smokey scene..the text should appear like it is smoke itself – puffy and slowly flowing. I’m using AE 6 on a mac. Thanks in advance for any help.

Use a mixture of compound blur, displacement maps and track mattes. Using the same fractal noise precomp for all three. The right recipe can work perfectly.
