    Public Access channel video that needs editing

    The video I received is .mpg, but -i is:

    Premiere Pro brings in the picture but not the audio.

    This is my first day of ffmpeg and so I could use a hand with my next step: getting a file I can edit for my client.

    I solved the issue.

    fmpeg -i input.mpg -c:v copy -c:a pcm_s16le output.mov

    Then when it comes into Premiere it took the 5 hour file several minutes to load.
